When she comes to again, she finds herself tied up in a dark room somewhere deep within the city limits. Her captors stand guard outside, watching her every move. She tries to scream for help, but no sound escapes her lips.

All she can hear is the pounding of her heartbeat echoing throughout her mind. Suddenly, she notices a faint light coming from underneath the door. It must be a crack, she thinks.

If only I could reach it... With all her might, she begins to pull against the ropes binding her limbs together. Sweat drips down her face as she struggles to free herself.

Finally, after hours of effort, she manages to break loose! She stares at the door for a moment, wondering how long it would take for someone to come looking for her. Then, without warning, the door swings open suddenly and a pair of strong arms grab hold of her.

It's the police! Thank God! They rush her back to safety, where she receives medical attention immediately.

After being treated for her injuries, she tells her story to authorities who promise to bring justice to those responsible for attacking her. And so ends our tale of bravery and courage in the face of adversity.
