Suddenly, there's a rustling sound from behind some bushes. A young girl emerges holding onto something tightly. She looks around cautiously before making her way towards the tree.

"It flew right past me. " The grandma chuckles. "Oh yes, I know all about those birds.

They're called hummingbirds, and they're very special creatures indeed. " The two sit together beneath the tree, watching the birds flit among the flowers. Soon enough, the grandma begins telling stories about how these tiny birds migrate thousands of miles each year just to find their favorite nectar plants.

How they can fly backwards and upside down without getting dizzy. And how they use their incredible sense of smell to locate food sources even when they're far away. As the afternoon wanes, the grandma offers the girl a piece of fruit from her basket.

"Here, have some of my homemade jam," she says kindly. "You must be hungry after your adventure today. " The girl accepts gratefully, taking a bite of the sweet treat.

Then she thanks the old lady for sharing her knowledge and wisdom. Before leaving, she promises to come back again soon to learn more about nature's marvelous creations.
