As the story progresses, we see the grandpa struggling to keep himself afloat amidst all the chaos. But then, someone comes to his rescue - none other than his wife, who had been watching everything unfold from the shore.

She rushes towards her husband and helps him back onto dry land. As she tends to his wounds, she asks him if he wants to tell everyone about the prank or let them think it was real. To which he replies, "I guess I should have known better than to trust my friends.

" And with that, the story ends with a smile on his face.
