The scene opens in a dark alleyway where a black cat sits patiently waiting for its owner to return home from work. The cat's name is "Midnight" and he has been missing his human companion since last night when they had a fight over dinner. Midnight knows something is wrong but can't quite put his paw on what it is.

Suddenly, a bright light shines down upon him as if someone were taking a picture of him. He looks up into the lens and sees nothing but darkness beyond. As the flash fades away, Midnight realizes that this must be some sort of trickery - after all, who would want to take pictures of cats?

But then again, maybe there are people out there who do appreciate their furry friends...
