" The young woman thought hard before answering. Finally, she spoke softly, almost whispering, "My last wish would be to never grow old. " The witch considered this for a moment, then nodded slowly.

"So be it. But remember, with age comes wisdom, experience, and perspective. Without aging, you may lose those things too.

" The young woman thanked the witch profusely, bowing deeply before turning away and walking back toward the sea. As she did so, she couldn't help but wonder if perhaps growing older wasn't always such a bad thing after all.
