Strahd von Zarovich stood tall on top of a rocky outcrop overlooking the darkened lands below. The full moon shone brightly overhead, illuminating the castle looming ominously in the distance. As he gazed upon it, he could feel its malevolent presence emanate through the air like a tangible force.

He had been here before, many times, but never without fear. This place held too much power over him - a power he both feared and craved. As if sensing his thoughts, the wind suddenly picked up, causing his long black hair to dance around his face.

A chill ran down his spine as he felt eyes watching him from somewhere deep within the darkness. He knew they were there, lurking in the shadows, waiting for their chance to strike. But he also knew that he would not be defeated so easily.
